Excessive speed is a major factor in 30% of fatal truck accidents and is a leading indicator of other types of poor driver behavior including poor fuel economy and vehicle maintenance costs. As fleets prepare for the implementation of Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 (CSA 2010), monitoring and managing speed is an integral part of any safety and compliance program.

SpeedGauge is a simple, straight forward patented driver behavior safety training tool that uses street-level speed limit analysis to identify high-risk driving behavior. The system uses GPS data (location and speed) to identify high risk driving behavior. Specifically, SpeedGauge helps fleet managers identify drivers that habitually drive at excessive speeds on different types of roads.
